Almost a month since I set some goals for the new season and it is getting warmer. I decided to get out my new (used) JP X-Cite Ride 135l and admire her lines. I can’t wait to get her out on the water again. I have only sailed her 2 times and plan on many more. Here are some photos I took.

Hi!
I’m living in Sweden and i recently picked up windsurfing again (about two years ago). It’s wonderful how fun it is to windsurf, i had almost forgotten that. I stumbled over your blog as i where searching for the JP x-cite ride on google. The reason i was searching for the x-cite ride is that i just bought one, exactly the same board as you got. I think that the production year of our boards are 2006. I haven’t had the chance to test it yet although i have had two windsurfing sessions already this year with my smaller AHD 105l freestyle board.
Could be fun to share some thoughts regarding the x-cite ride and windsurfing in general. I live in the south part of Sweden 10 minutes by car from the water. I am married and hav two daughters and are also working as a teacher.
Have a nice Weekend.
Best Regards
Martin
Hey Martin,
Nice to hear from someone on the other side of the globe. That is interesting that you got the same board as me. I have sailed mine twice and love it. I live in Michigan and it is not very windy in the summer when I have time to sail so this board is about as small as I want to go. I hope you get to use yours. I would like to keep in touch with you. My email is streetsailor@charter.net if you are interested in keeping in touch. We can compare notes on our boards.
